PLM Product Lifecycle Management

A platform that manages a product's life cycle, from initial design to discontinuation, keeping every artefact consistent.

Full definition

PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) is the platform where the complete life cycle of an industrial product lives, especially in sectors with continuous development of collections or models, such as fashion, footwear, furniture and consumer electronics. It covers design, specifications, bill of materials, development timelines, samples, approvals, projected pricing and handover to production.

Without PLM, the design lives in Adobe files in the creative department, the tech pack lives in Excel sheets in development, the BOM lives in the ERP, pricing lives in another sheet, and reconciling these silos at the start of each collection takes weeks. With PLM, there is a single, living source of truth — consultable and auditable.

Connect@Fashion by INFOS is a PLM verticalised for the fashion cycle, with dedicated operating manuals for Brand and for Producer that reflect the reality of the chain (who sees what, who approves what, how they navigate from sample to production). It integrates natively with the MULTI ERP (for pricing and purchasing) and with the Portal dos Subcontratados (for subcontracting).
